Author of the Why Diet Fail, obesity expert Yoni Freedhoff says, if you cut back to 500-800 calories and workout for couple of hours daily then you can lose seven to nine pounds out of 250 pounds a week where as trainer Marc Perry, founder of BuiltLean says he has seen clients lose up to 1-1.5% of their body weight a week. How much pounds you can lose in week depends on your body type and actual weight your body have but it is safe to lose 1 to 1.5% of your body weight in a week which can be achieved by cutting calorie intake and physical workout (weight training, aerobic exercise etc.) Means if your body has 250 Lbs weight, you can lose 2.5 to 4 Lbs a week safely and easily which is also healthy for long term. The other factor is your body type. It’s easy to lose weight of fat as compared to weight of muscle. If your body has extra fat than it is easy to reduce it with workout and calorie cut in your diet but if your body has weight of muscles, losing is bit harder.
Way to lose about 15 Pounds in a week (not recommended)
Some weight training experts says, if you take only 800 calorie a day and workout daily with heavy weight, you can even lose 13-15 pounds of 250 body weight in a week but don’t follow this routine continuously. This routine you can follow maximum for one week only if you want seriously urgent weight loss and if you really want to take risk otherwise it is not recommended. Take protein rich food, liquid soups, fruit juice only.
